Check Out The ASUS Eee PC 1215B!

The Asus Eee PC 1215B is a laptop with a 12.1 inch display and an AMD Fusion processor. With a starting price of just $379, the laptop is priced just a bit higher than a typical netbook, but it packs higher performance graphics, a higher resolution display, a larger keyboard, and Windows 7 Home Premium instead of Starter Edition.
The folks at Asus sent me a demo unit to test. I’ll have a detailed review soon, but in the meantime (Read more ...)

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Competes With The iPad 2!

At 271 x 177 x 12.98 mm the Eee Pad Transformer isn’t as thin as the iPad 2 or the Galaxy Tab 10.1, and nor, at 680g, is it as light. Still, it’s a neatly portable slate in its own right, with a curved, textured back panel and brushed-metal effect sides. Ports are more comprehensive than Samsung’s, too, with mini HDMI 1.3a along with a microSD card reader, and there are stereo speakers, a microphone, headset jack and a proprietary socket for the keyboard dock (more on which in a moment).
